Jean Nouvel, Simple Bridge armchairs and sofa, Ligne Roset edition

Jean Nouvel Bridge Élémentaire_004
Available
1991

In the field of design, what you might expect to be by a sculptor often turns out to be by an architect. What characterises architectural design most often is its formal and sculptural strength. Jean Nouvel is no exception to the rule. The Simple Bridge suite from the Élémentaire collection was originally designed for the Centre International de Congrès Vinci in Tours at the beginning of the 90s. It was subsequently produced twice by Ligne Roset, at the start of the 90s then in 2011. Displaying great formal rigour, the Simple Bridge suite is nevertheless very comfortable.
