Luminaires by Ettore Sottsass are often characterised by great formal strength and amazing efficiency in functional terms. The Madison lamp is no exception to the rule. It consists of simple volumes and its arm is equipped with a particularly fluid ingenious ball-joint system allowing it to be positioned in all directions. In the same way the switch is conveniently placed enabling it to be switched on quickly. Light source: two single-ended compact fluorescent G24 bulbs.
