Galgen, that means gallows in German, is probably one of the most rare and least known of Ingo Maurer’s lamps. Of course it resembles a Japanese lantern because it is manufactured in paper. Ingo Maurer’s design and overall conception makes it a completely different object. Each screen is arranged on a stem that is adjustable in height.
