Garraf is introduced in the editor’s original catalogue as an, ‘all-purpose environmental lamp’. Garraf is more than a lamp, as it does not fall within any conventional lamp category. It is, in fact, a sculpture. A sculpture inspired by both Madrid scene aesthetics in Spain in the 1980s and contemporary art in the 1970s with op art artists. Very few copies were produced. Marquina black marble base, metallic paint covered pyramid and steel arms. Our Garraf was brand new until it was unwrapped here for display.
