Piero de Martini is an unheralded architect who spent a large part of his career working for Cassina. He flourished as a designer from the end of the 1970s onwards. Sold as a kit, the Falene lamp requires input from the purchaser. Falene comprises a set of independent elements assembled following an instruction manual. Lacquered steel and taut fabric shade.
